Pakistan invites investors, innovators to back tech partnerships, announces national AI event

Pakistan will host Indus AI Week 2026 from 9 to 15 February 2026, an initiative designed to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence across its public and private sectors while inviting international investors and tech innovators to engage with its emerging ecosystem. Announced by Federal IT Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja, the week-long event builds upon the country’s National AI Policy introduced in 2025, aiming to transition from high-level dialogue to practical implementation through a series of summits, startup showcases, and skills certification programs.
