Trump says China, other countries can’t have Nvidia’s top AI chips

It is reported that, in a CBS interview and remarks aboard Air Force One, US President Donald Trump has declared that Nvidia’s advanced Blackwell AI chips will be exclusively available to US companies, barring China and other nations from access. President Trump emphasised that only the US should possess these top-tier semiconductors. While the President did not rule out the possibility of China obtaining a less advanced version, he stated that the most sophisticated Blackwell chips would not be shared internationally.
