OpenAI hired Ironclad co-founder Jason Boehmig to lead a new legal vertical, while Perplexity launched Computer for Counsel with multiple legal tech integrations. Google continues investing in legal tech via GV and Gradient Ventures, and partners with Freshfields on Gemini-powered tools.
