AI fluency may now command a premium for contract lawyers

ABA Journal reports on a Paragon Legal study finding that 86% of legal departments would pay more for contract attorneys who combine specialization with AI fluency, typically 11–20% above standard rates. Paragon’s own survey says 95% of legal departments now require or prefer AI fluency when hiring.
