Fieldfisher goes firm-wide with Legora across its international network

Fieldfisher is rolling out AI platform Legora to around 1,400 lawyers and Business Services professionals across its international offices following a six-week pilot with 137 users in Europe. The rollout is led from the firm’s AI hub at Fieldfisher X in Berlin, set up last year to deliver its global AI strategy.

LONDON, 5 November 2026 – Legora, the agentic operating system for legal professionals, today announced that Fieldfisher is deploying Legora across the firm, to around 1,400 lawyers and staff. The decision follows a six-week pilot in which 137 users in the firm’s UK and wider European offices used Legora on their day-to-day work.

In September 2025, Fieldfisher set up a global AI hub at Fieldfisher X, its Berlin-based legal operations and technology business, and appointed Doron Faibish as Director of AI to deliver a strategy set by the firm’s AI Board under Dr Jan Wildhirth. The rollout is a significant next step in Fieldfisher’s global AI strategy. That strategy is focused on three connected priorities: embedding AI into the firm’s core legal services, developing new AI-powered legal products and improving the efficiency of business services. Legora will support the first of these priorities by providing a specialist, matter-based environment for substantive legal work across practices and jurisdictions.

Fieldfisher’s lawyers will use Legora for research, review and drafting in practice areas including dispute resolution, corporate, technology and data, and regulatory. Teams can hand multi-step tasks to Legora’s Agent, review large document sets in a single table, and set up Monitors to follow regulatory and legal developments for their clients. Legora’s legal engineers will work with the firm’s AI team to turn Fieldfisher’s own know-how into shared workflows and Skills that any office can use.

The rollout will be led by Fieldfisher’s AI hub at Fieldfisher X in Berlin, working with the firm’s AI Board, practice groups and local offices. Fieldfisher and Legora will focus on practice-specific use cases, role-based training, shared workflows and continuing enablement. The programme is intended to help lawyers move from isolated prompting to governed, reusable and matter-connected ways of working.

Fieldfisher will also continue to invest in its own AI capabilities, including reusable prompts, playbooks, workflows, governance assets and client-facing legal products. This approach is designed to preserve the firm’s institutional know-how, maintain flexibility and  and build on the expertise and professional judgement of its lawyers.

Dr Jan Wildhirth, Partner and Managing Director of Fieldfisher X, said: “This is not simply a software rollout. Our objective is to make legal AI a core capability of the firm and to use it in a way that improves how we deliver legal services, helps us develop new offerings and gives us better evidence of where AI creates value. The pilot with Legora showed that lawyers engage with specialist legal AI when it is connected to real work and supported properly. Legora’s team worked closely with our lawyers, listened to their feedback and invested in a clear rollout approach. That working relationship, and our shared ambition to shape the next generation of legal services, were central to our decision.”

Robert Shooter, Managing Partner of Fieldfisher, said:
“Our clients expect us to combine legal expertise with innovative ways of delivering our services. Investing in Legora helps us do exactly that, giving our people more scope to focus on the judgement, strategic advice and trusted relationships that clients value most. By making these capabilities available across our international network, we can share expertise and effective ways of working, support collaboration across borders and respond more effectively to increasingly complex client challenges. Ultimately, this investment strengthens both our people and the long-term quality, competitiveness and resilience of our business.”

Max Junestrand, CEO and cofounder, Legora, said: “Fieldfisher ran its pilot across several countries, with lawyers doing their normal work, and made the decision on what they saw. The firm has also put proper structure behind AI, with an AI Board, a central hub and a Director of AI, which is what a firm-wide rollout needs. Our job now is to get the same results in every office.”

Fieldfisher joins Legora’s 2,300 customers, who between them have more than 130,000 legal professionals on the platform across more than 80 markets. Legora has offices in 18 cities, including London, Munich, Madrid, Milan and Paris.
