It is reported that Democratic US senators Elizabeth Warren (D-Massachusetts) and Ron Wyden (D-Oregon) on the Senate banking and finance committees, respectively have sent letters to Microsoft and Google, requesting information about their cloud computing partnerships with OpenAI and Microsoft respectively and expressing concern the arrangements could stifle competition in the industry.
