US secures $1.2 trillion economic commitment in Qatar, covering drone technology

As part of its tour to the Gulf states, the US White House has announced an agreement with Qatar to generate an economic exchange worth at least $1.2 trillion. Among the deals includes a $1 billion defence deal in which Qatar would procure counter-drone equipment from US defence company Raytheon.
