US planning to bring AI export controls in trade deals, according to US Commerce Secretary

It is reported that, at the Bureau of Industry and Security conference, US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has revealed that the Trump administration (1) is seeking help from companies and foreign governments to prevent China from getting US chips, and (2) plans to try to bring AI export controls into trade deals.
