The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, the National Security Agency, the Australian Signals Directorate’s Australian Cyber Security Centre, the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security, New Zealand’s National Cyber Security Centre and the United Kingdom’s National Cyber Security Centre have jointly released a comprehensive roadmap outlining a strategic approach to AI adoption, focusing on five key areas: responsibly utilizing AI to enhance its mission, ensuring the security of AI systems, protecting critical infrastructure from malicious AI use, fostering collaboration with interagency and international partners, and expanding AI expertise within its workforce. This initiative aligns with Executive Order 14110, emphasizing the safe and trustworthy development and use of AI, and underscores CISA’s commitment to integrating AI technologies while mitigating associated risks to national cybersecurity and critical infrastructure.
