The UK Treasury Committee has heard evidence from a panel of experts on the potential impacts of using AI in financial services. The panel consisted of Professor Sandra Wachter (Oxford University), Professor Neil Lawrence (Cambridge University) and Professor Galina Andreeva (Edinburgh University). Notably, the records indicate that the panel suggested regulators needed a “change in mindset” when it comes to the use of AI in financial services.
