UK and Indonesia publish joint report on AI policy dialogue

The governments of Indonesia and the United Kingdom have launched the AI Policy Dialogue Country Report as part of a joint effort to study AI adoption and develop related policies. The report is the outcome of a bilateral memorandum of understanding on digital transformation signed by both countries. The report summarizes key points discussed during intensive sessions involving cross-sector stakeholders, including industry players, academics, government officials, and community representatives. The report serves as a reference to identify basic needs, challenges, and implications of AI use in six key areas: digital services, digital infrastructure, data management, digital talent, digital ecosystems, and ethics and inclusivity.
