UAE to invest up to $50 billion in Canada in industries such as AI, energy

Canada Prime Minister Carney and UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan have signed the new Canada-UAE Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (FIPA). Under the deal, the UAE will invest up to $50 billion in Canada, focusing on sectors such as AI, energy, and mining.
