UAE to invest billions in AI data centres in France

It is reported that the United Arab Emirates will invest €30 to €50 billion to build a “campus” of AI data centres in France, with most of the investment going toward a data centre with a capacity of up to 1GW. A consortium of French and Emirati investors will back the data center project in France. This deal is part of a larger AI agreement signed between France and the UAE to strengthen strategic bilateral ties.
