It is reported that Tajikistan has introduced a resolution on AI at the United Nations which aims to establish international regulatory mechanisms that balance technological progress and security while considering the interests of developing countries. Key aspects of the proposed AI resolution reportedly include: (1) a unified AI self-regulation space, where countries with different technological capabilities can implement advanced solutions while protecting national interests; and (2) joint research and data-sharing initiatives among nations to accelerate AI advancements.
