It is reported that according to the Science and ICT Ministry’s Director Uhm Yul, the decrees underpinning South Korea’s new AI Basic Act may be unveiled later than the initial schedule of end of June 2025, potentially delaying the regulatory framework’s implementation and impacting businesses awaiting clarity on compliance requirements.
