It is reported that South Korea may suspend the AI Basic Act’s provisions on imposing fines for violators of obligations for some time and draft decrees and rules in such a manner as to make the law heavily prioritize AI development, according to reports by the Ministry of Science and ICT to the new president’s planning team.
