President Trump has announced a joint venture called Project Stargate which will invest up to $500 billion for infrastructure tied to AI by a new partnership formed by OpenAI, Oracle and Softbank. The Stargate joint venture entity will start building out data centres and the electricity generation needed for the further development of AI in Texas.
