It is reported that Nvidia and AMD have agreed to give the US government 15% of revenue from sales to China of advanced computer chips, according to a US official. Another US official has revealed that the Commerce Department had begun issuing licenses for the sale of Nvidia’s H20 AI chips to China. Further official details have yet to be revealed.
