A new survey from Google Workspace and The Harris Poll reveals that younger professionals are rapidly embracing AI tools to boost workplace productivity and collaboration. The study, based on responses from over 1,000 U.S.-based workers aged 22-39 with leadership ambitions, underscores the transformative role AI plays in shaping the future of work.

The findings are striking: 82% of respondents are already using AI tools in their roles, and a staggering 98% believe AI will significantly impact their industries within the next five years. Gen Z respondents reported the highest adoption rates, with 93% using two or more AI tools weekly. Millennials followed closely at 79%.

“Rising leaders are not simply using AI as a tool for efficiency but as a catalyst to help grow their careers,” said Yulie Kwon Kim, VP of Product at Google Workspace.
