Mishcon de Reya rolls out Legora firmwide after successful pilot

London, 31st July 2025 – Following a three-month pilot, Mishcon de Reya is now adopting Legora, a leading collaborative AI platform for lawyers, firmwide. Legora will be made available to all fee earners across all practice areas at the firm.

The trial period revealed high usage among users, with a range of practice areas including Corporate, Real Estate, Private, and Innovation testing the platform.

In line with Legora’s highly collaborative approach to adoption and integration with its clients, it enabled lawyers on these teams to directly feedback how they were using the platform and ensure that Legora supports the firm’s real legal needs and use cases, while allowing the firm to work on scoping collaboration with its clients too.

Nick West, Technology Partner & Chief Strategy Officer at Mishcon de Reya, said:

We’ve got two years’ worth of experience using our in-house genAI tool, deReyAI, so we were looking for a product which would be a step-change in capability for us. We chose Legora because it combines a strong current feature set with a clear, ambitious roadmap. The team impressed us with their pace, product vision and understanding of legal workflows. We believe Legora can significantly accelerate and improve how we work today and has the potential to fundamentally transform how we deliver value to clients in the future. We are thrilled to be partnering with them.”

Usage data from the trial period revealed that Legora supported workstreams at all levels and areas of the firm, with Paralegals, Associates, and Partners alike putting it to use for a variety of tasks. Some standout ‘super users’ emerged, commenting on their experiences using Legora, they have outlined how Legora enabled them to work more efficiently and deliver better outcomes for their clients.

Natsha Holme, Managing Associate in the Private Wealth Disputes team at Mishcon de Reya, said:

“I have been using Legora for several months now. As a result, I can work in a more time- and cost-efficient manner. It has proven invaluable for tasks such as summarising large volumes of information, extracting relevant data from documents, creating polished drafts from rough notes (e.g., attendance notes of meetings), and proofreading documents. It is also a useful starting point for research queries. However, it remains essential to verify Legora’s output in much the same way as if a trainee had produced the work. I am excited by the additional functionality Legora has introduced, and anyone who is not currently using AI to complement their practice is being left behind.”

Megan Judd, Associate in the Employment team at Mishcon de Reya, said:

“Legora has significantly streamlined my workload. Its Tabular Review and Word add in features are especially innovative, the latter of which helps craft clear post-settlement action lists, a real client value-add. The Legora team is remarkably supportive and open to suggestions, consistently seeking ways to refine and enhance the platform for all users.”

Georgina Hathway, Associate in the Commercial and Technology groups at Mishcon de Reya, said:

“Legora has quickly proven itself to be a standout example of how AI can be meaningfully integrated into corporate legal practice. From the moment I began using the platform, it was clear that it’s a thoughtfully designed solution that truly understands the nuances of corporate legal work. As someone who regularly drafts and reviews contracts, I’ve found the Word Add-In particularly effective. Its ability to swiftly analyse contracts, flag key risks, and surface relevant clauses has not only saved time but also added strategic value to my work. Reviewing commercial contracts forms a significant part of the work our team does as a leading tech practice supporting both high-growth and mature technology businesses. Having access to Legora will enhance our ability to deliver tech-enabled legal solutions to these clients. We’re excited to continue exploring how Legora’s AI capabilities can help us future-proof our work and maintain the high quality of advice we provide.”

Jalil Seyidov, Associate in the Private department at Mishcon de Reya, said:

“Legora has become an invaluable tool in my daily practice, enabling me to work more efficiently. The platform’s ability to quickly analyse documents, provide relevant insights, and research using Deep Think mode has significantly reduced time spent on repetitive tasks while improving the quality of my work. As a non-native English speaker, it is particularly helpful for me to pick the right tone and correctly frame communications with clients on complex matters.”

Commenting on the partnership and full rollout of the platform, Legora CEO Max Junestrand said:

“It’s rewarding during a pilot phase when we can see lawyers really digging deep into Legora to make full use of our capabilities and to help to shape future ones. This has certainly been the case with Mishcon de Reya. From the start, we have been so impressed with the engagement and enthusiasm from the team to utilise Legora in a way that truly empowers its lawyers. And I couldn’t be happier that we will be working with Mishcon de Reya across the entire firm.”
