The Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has opened a public consultation on 22 draft industry standards and 6 English-language translations of existing standards in the communications sector. The 22 draft standards cover a range of technologies, including a 5 part framework for evaluating large-scale pre-trained AI models across areas such as development, capability, application maturity, trustworthiness, and operational deployment. Additional standards address intelligent assistants, dialogue platforms, risk control systems, virtual digital humans, and facial recognition data protection. The consultation is open until 20 June 2025.
