It is reported that Minister of Communications Fahmi Fadzil has launched the Sebenarnya.my Chatbot, named AIFA, to combat fake news and help users verify the authenticity of unverified news online. Developed by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), AIFA is a user-friendly platform available 24/7 via the website https://sebenarnya.my/ and WhatsApp at 03-86887997. The chatbot aims to empower the public with verified information from relevant authorities, utilising algorithms and machine learning to provide accurate data quickly. AIFA is accessible in four languages—Malay, English, Mandarin, and Tamil.
