Acting head Oki Suryowahono has reportedly emphasized the importance of a cautious approach, aiming to understand the issues that led other countries, such as Italy, Australia, and South Korea, to ban the application. The ministry intends to thoroughly evaluate the implications for users and will refrain from making any hasty decisions, including an immediate ban on DeepSeek.
