HHS releases AI Strategic Plan

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has released its AI Strategic Plan with the vision of becoming a global leader in responsible AI adoption to advance health and well-being. The plan aims to (1) catalyze health AI innovation to improve lives through expanded use cases, infrastructure modernization, and public-private collaboration; (2) promote trustworthy AI development by addressing risks like bias, privacy, and biosecurity; (3) democratize AI technologies, ensuring equitable access to data, tools, and resources; and (4) cultivate AI-empowered workforces through training, talent pipelines, and organizational support.
