HAQQ Legal AI Launches Its Mobile App Worldwide on iOS and Android

Free app surpasses 7,500 downloads since May, bringing HAQQ’s legal AI technology directly to consumers

BEIRUT, Lebanon HAQQ Legal AI announced on July 2026 the worldwide availability of its mobile application on iOS and Android, free to download. Since launching in May 2026, the app has surpassed 7,500 downloads, marking HAQQ’s first move into the consumer market and extending its legal AI technology beyond professional users.

Powered by HAQQ’s proprietary Justinian® Legal AI Engine, the app is designed to help people understand legal situations before they escalate—not to replace lawyers.

According to the World Justice Project, 5.1 billion people worldwide have unmet legal needs. For many people, the challenge begins long before they ever speak to a lawyer: understanding a contract before signing it, identifying risks in an employment offer or lease, drafting a notice, or simply knowing what to do when a legal issue arises.

“Most people do not ignore legal issues because they do not care. They avoid them because they do not know where to start,” said Antoine Kanaan, CEO and Co-Founder of HAQQ. “Our mission is to make justice equal, the same for everyone. We are building from Lebanon and exporting to the world, and we will not stop until every person with a phone can reach their rights.”

Built for Legal Reasoning

The HAQQ mobile app runs on the same Justinian® Legal AI Engine that powers the company’s professional platform, which has recorded more than 15,000 law firm signups across 80+ countries.

Unlike generic AI tools designed primarily for conversation, Justinian® is built specifically for legal reasoning, jurisdiction-aware analysis, and structured legal workflows. The app can help users review contracts clause by clause, understand legal language and potential risks, draft agreements and notices, and produce structured legal work directly from their mobile device.

The technology is designed to reflect changes in the law so that users can work with legal information that is aligned with current rules rather than relying solely on a model’s original training cutoff.

AI as the First Step, Not the Replacement for a Lawyer

HAQQ does not position AI as a substitute for legal professionals. Instead, the company sees it as the first step in the legal journey: helping people understand their situation, ask better questions, and arrive more prepared when professional advice is needed.

“AI is not a replacement for the lawyer. It is the first step,” said Kanaan. “You get a first opinion, then you go to the right specialized lawyer. There is a responsibility behind legal work, and AI does not carry that responsibility.”

The app is therefore designed to complement, rather than replace, professional legal services. Lawyers remain essential for representation, negotiation, legal strategy, professional judgment, and accountability.

Built Around Trust

Because legal matters often involve highly sensitive information, HAQQ has built its technology around confidentiality and security. The platform includes encrypted infrastructure, no training on private user data, jurisdiction-aware outputs, and safeguards designed specifically for legal work.

“We already give this level of security to the world’s largest companies. We wanted every citizen to have the same,” Kanaan added.

HAQQ’s security framework and certifications are available on its website.
