It is reported that the European External Action Service, being the EU’s diplomatic arm, will formalise its “AI in Security and Defense Implementation Roadmap” which will set out the EU’s approaches to AI in foreign policy and defence, with a focus on AI-related threats and challenges (e.g. AI-enabled cyberattacks, information manipulation), AI-enabled capabilities, global AI governance, and collaboration with partners such as NATO.
