It is reported that the European Commission will seek feedback on how to minimise compliance with the EU AI Act, as part of an upcoming AI action plan which is due to be announced on 9 April 2025. It is known at this stage that the AI Action plan will set out 5 pillars: regulatory simplification, computing infrastructure, data, industrial uptake, and skills.
