The European Commission has released a progress report on its AI Continent Action Plan, highlighting significant advancements across its five pillars: infrastructure, data, talent, adoption, and trustworthy AI. Notable achievements include the deployment of 19 AI factories integrated with Europe’s leading supercomputers, the launch of the Data Union Strategy to enhance data access and sharing, and the establishment of an EU-India legal gateway to facilitate ICT talent mobility. Additionally, the Apply AI Strategy has earmarked €1 billion to promote AI adoption in industrial and public sectors. To showcase these developments, the European AI Innovation month is scheduled from 14 October to 17 November 2026.
