EU AI Liability Directive unlikely to revive

It is reported that the EU’s AI Liability Directive is set to lose its last supporters, and that the European Parliament is unlikely to ask for continuing work on the directive which had recently been withdrawn by the European Commission as the leadership of the European People’s Party, the largest political group, is asking lawmakers to rally against the proposal not to clash with the center-right “simplification” agenda.
