The Digital Transformation Agency has released the AI model clauses which provide terms for purchasing AI systems, ensuring they are procured and implemented responsibly, ethically, and securely. The terms aim to help mitigate risks and promote transparency and accountability in AI deployment. The terms are designed for three main use cases: (1) procuring services where the seller may be using AI systems in the provision of the service; (2) developing an AI tool within the buyer organisation with assistance from a consultant (including to assist development of automated decision making); and (3) procuring a software product with embedded or integrated AI capabilities.
