Decoupling America’s Artificial Intelligence Capabilities from China Act introduced

US Senator Hawley has introduced legislation titled “Decoupling America’s Artificial Intelligence Capabilities from China Act ” which aims to (1) prohibit the import from or export to China of artificial intelligence technology; (2) prohibit US companies from conducting AI research in China or in cooperation with Chinese companies; and (3) prohibit US companies from investing money in Chinese AI development.
