Cyber Security Agency announces expansion of cyber essentials and cyber trust marks to include cloud security, AI and operational technology

The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) has expanded Cyber Essentials and Cyber Trust certification marks to now include coverage of cloud security, AI security, and operational technology (OT) security. The Cyber Essentials mark offers guidance on mitigating common cyber threats related to these technologies, while the Cyber Trust mark incorporates these areas into its risk and preparedness assessment templates to support the implementation of good cyber practices. The CSA is considering making these certifications a requirement for organisations managing sensitive data prior to obtaining licences or participating in government procurement processes.
