Silicon Valley law firm Cooley is launching Cooley Go Lab, an online portal letting startup founders upload files and ask questions about their documents, built in partnership with legal AI start-up Legora. The portal reviews agreements such as NDAs and contractor contracts, flags issues, and draws on Cooley Go’s library of startup templates. It will roll out first to Y Combinator’s summer cohort. Cooley warns the tool is not protected by attorney-client privilege. The move reflects Big Law’s broader push to shape how clients use AI rather than cede routine work entirely.
