China and Indonesia boost strategic coordination, including in AI

During China’s official state visit to Jakarta, Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto have met to reaffirm their commitment to deepening political trust, strategic coordination, and comprehensive cooperation between China and Indonesia. Among other matters, China and Indonesia have pledged to enhance collaboration under the Belt and Road Initiative, strengthen landmark projects like the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway, and expand cooperation in finance, new energy, digital economy, and AI. The meeting concluded with the signing of several cooperation agreements in economic development, industry, and finance.
