Brazil’s Resolution No. 2/2025 establishing a Working Group with the purpose of operationalising the management of the Brazilian Artificial Intelligence Plan (PBIA) has entered into force. The Working Group is tasked with monitoring the PBIA’s execution and proposing adjustments to the Executive Committee, organising its work into annual plans, providing information on its activities and PBIA monitoring when requested, and presenting an annual execution monitoring report for the PBIA to the Executive Committee. The group consists of 15 members and their alternates, representing various government bodies and entities, and will be coordinated by a representative from the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation. The Working Group is established for a duration of 4 years.
