Darryl Chiang is Legal Director at Google in New York, where he leads the commercial legal team for Search, News, and Maps. His work spans content access and licensing with creators, publishers, and platforms, including AI/ML training. He co-wrote Google’s Terms of Service and chairs the Legal Department’s Forms & Drafting team. Previously, he practiced at Latham & Watkins and served as in-house counsel at Hitachi America and Bio-Rad Laboratories.
