The order directs Australian Government entities to prevent the use, installation, or access to DeepSeek on government systems and mobile devices. The order requires entities to identify and remove all existing DeepSeek products and report completion to the Department of Home Affairs. It also provides that exemptions may be granted for national security or regulatory functions, with appropriate mitigations in place.
