ANPD president says ANPD must advance AI regulation before legal framework

President of Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) The National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) Waldemar Gonçalves has reportedly stated at the the Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona that the ANPD plans to regulate AI systems in Brazil before the approval of the legal framework for AI, which is currently under final discussion in the National Congress.
