The framework will address various aspects of AI regulation, including areas requiring specific legislation, standards, and methods, while ensuring that innovation is not stifled. The government is also reviewing existing laws, such as the Evidence Act 1950 and the Contracts Act 1950, to align them with technological advancements. Additionally, efforts are underway to enhance public literacy on AI usage through awareness and education programs, aiming to foster cautious and rational users.
