AI-generated child sex abuse images targeted with new laws

The UK government has announced it will introduce new laws to combat the threat of AI-generated child sexual abuse images. The new laws will include (1) imposing up to three years of jail time for owning AI “paedophile manuals,” (2) criminalizing the operation of websites that facilitate the sharing of child sexual abuse content, and (3) banning “nudify” apps and addressing the normalization of sexual activity with young-looking girls on mainstream porn sites.
