C.H.BECK invests over €100M in Noxtua as MANZ joins Series C

Noxtua, Europe’s Legal AI, has closed a Series C funding round of more than €100 million, with German legal publisher C.H.BECK becoming the new majority shareholder and Austrian publisher MANZ joining as a new investor. The round marks C.H.BECK’s largest ever investment. Noxtua, founded in Berlin in 2017, now has more than 30,000 users, around 100 employees, and six European offices. Its Legal AI Workspaces draw on curated legal data from publishers including C.H.BECK, MANZ, Helbing Lichtenhahn, Wydawnictwo C.H.Beck, Blendow Group, and Ciela Norma. As part of the restructuring, previous investors Global Brain, KDDI Open Innovation Fund, CMS, Dentons, and Dominik Schiener are stepping back, though CMS and Dentons remain key anchor clients.
